Firstly, a BIG welcome to the new families for 2018!
Whether your child is beginning their first step into big school or transferring from another school, it’s always exciting and scary at the same time.

Uniform Shop – Mon 29th Jan
The Uniform Shop will have a special opening on the Monday 29th Jan (the day before school starts), from 9 am – 11 am.
Pop in for any last minute uniform needs.
Regular open hours are Wednesdays, 9 am – 10 am during the school term.
Teas & Tissues – Mon 5th Feb
The P&C will be holding a Teas & Tissues morning tea to welcome all new parents and carers on Monday 5th February (first day Kindy starts).
It’ll commence straight after the students have filed into class.
Come along to the morning tea to meet other new parents, as well as some existing parents,¬†and ease your nerves over a cup of tea.¬†We all know that new parents can be more of a nervous wreck than their kids!! And maybe share tips & tricks to survive the next 7 years of big school!¬† ¬† ūüėĬ† ¬†ūüėā
P&C Meeting РWed 7th Feb
We’re expecting a mammoth year ahead, so to kick it off, our first meeting will be held on Wednesday 7th February (week 2), 6:30 pm in the school library.
We’ll be discussing¬†P&C¬†matters, fundraising events as well as explain any questions about the upcoming AGM.
Attached is the agenda and minutes of the last meeting. We hope you can all make it kickstart 2018!
Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Wed 28th Feb

The AGM will be held on Wednesday 28th February (week 5), 6:00 pm in the school library. Followed by a General Meeting.
We will elect the new P&C Executive Committee for 2018. All positions are made vacant on the night.
You will also hear an annual summary of what the P&C achieved in 2017.
Please find attached the nomination form for all executive positions.
All financial members can be nominated for any of the positions. You can also nominate yourself. All nominations require another financial member to second them.
To become a financial member, all you have to do is complete the attached form and place it in an envelope with your $1 membership fee and pop it into the yellow P&C box located in the office foyer once school starts. Please note that no change will be given and anything extra will be assumed to be a donation to the P&C.
Memberships must be paid for prior to nominations being submitted. Nominations must be received by the Secretary no later than the 21st of February (7 days PRIOR to the meeting).
No nominations can be accepted on the night, and anybody who joins on the night cannot vote.
We welcome all new and existing parents to run for the Executive Committee roles.
