The P&C is made up of people just like you. We are all parents. Some of us work part-time, some full time and some of us are at home with younger children. We all have children at Marie Bashir Public School and we have all seen this community grow. We come together to contribute our time and give what we can, when we can, in order to support the students and teachers.

While there are nominated positions, with certain responsibilities, these are all voluntary roles and require the support of the parent and teacher community. And while these positions are voluntary, they are integral to the continuity of the P&C.

To become involved in the P&C, please see our Volunteers tab to see how you can help. When once-off events are happening we will send out emails and letters requesting assistance. Please don’t be shy, we need your help!

We recommend you come to the meetings, which are twice a term (see our meeting tab). There are always representatives of the school (including our Principal or Assistant Principal) and here we discuss all manner of things related to the school and the P&C. The Opening of Our School in 2013
